About Us

Our history began with a request from Riverside Hospital for quality childcare in 1984. The Ottenbreit family recognized the need at hand and took the steps that led to the opening of a center in downtown Trenton. In 1995 they built the center at our current location. In 2016 the Ottenbreit family sold the center to Jennifer and Kevin Dermody, who also own Building Blocks Learning Center on Grosse Ile. Jennifer has been a teacher since 1991, and Kevin has been in business/manufacturing for the same length of time.
